The History of Wild Boar Hunting
In 1474 Giovanni della Rovere, a nephew of Pope Sixtus IV, became lord of Senigallia and Mondavio. Giovanni’s marriage with Giovanna from Montefeltro was destined to unite the della Rovere with the Montefeltro Family. The concession of territories, occurred after their marriage, allowed to Pope to treat these families as equals.
